About DEXTR and this Privacy Statement.

We are Dextr B.V. ("DEXTR"), located at Rivium Quadrant 122, 2909 LC in Capelle aan de IJssel and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 863977960.

This statement ("Privacy Statement") we explain how we process your personal data when you make use of DEXTR taxi services ("Services"), the website https://www.dextr.nl/ ("Website") and/or our DEXTR app ("App"). Unless otherwise indicated, DEXTR is the controller of the processes described in this Privacy Statement.

DEXTR is the easiest taxi app in the Netherlands. To execute your DEXTR-ride, DEXTR works closely with taxi companies and with Transvision, a company that specializes in transportation. The Terms and Conditions that apply to the services of DEXTR can be found here: https://www.dextr.nl/terms.

To contact us about the processing of your personal data or if you want to talk to our Privacy Officer, you can send an email to  compliance@dextr.nl.

This Privacy Statement can be changed from time to time. The date and the version are stated at the top of this Privacy Statement.

Why we gather and process your personal data

We process your personal data when you make use of our Services, Website, and/or App. Later in this Privacy Statement, a more specific explanation of the processing of personal data can be found. Furthermore, we process personal data for a couple of different goals for our company including but not limited to:

• The processing of personal data is necessary for the purpose of keeping proper records as well as the justified interest of our company complying with legal obligations to ensure an up-to-date administration.
• The disclosure of information to government agencies as far as necessary to comply with norms and legislation.
• Preparation or implementation of corporate transactions, such as a takeover or fusion, in the scope.
• Disclosure of information to third parties such as insurance companies, auditors, accountants, tax consultants, and other advisors when required for the company's legitimate interests complying with norms and regulations.

Bookings

When you book a ride through the app the filled-in information will be registered. This includes contact information, pick-up and drop-off location, date, and the time of your booking. To simplify the booking process your telephone number will be registered the moment you use the App for the first time.

We register this data for as far as necessary to execute the ride. It is not possible to complete the booking with this information.

If you require an assistive device, you can inform us when making your booking.

During your ride, your taxi’s live location will be shared with us so that we can make sure the booking is being executed correctly.

We store necessary booking information for our financial administration for a maximum of 7 years.

DEXTR-account

You can choose to make a DEXTR-account. This account makes it possible for you to add your favorite addresses, save your previous ride, and book your previous rides. In this case, we register your personal data so that you can make optimum use of your DEXTR-account. You will also be assigned a personal customer number for our administration. While registering, you can see what other information is needed to create a DEXTR-account.

When making a DEXTR-account, we ask for an email address. We use the email address to send service messages and, if you agreed, marketing messages.

It is not necessary to create a DEXTR-account to book a ride. Your DEXTR-account will remain registered until it is removed.

Marketing

We would like to keep you updated on our Services and promotions. With your explicit permission, we will update you through email and push notifications in the App. We will send regular newsletters and personalized offers. These offers can be based on your booking history or your location.

Help Center

If you contact the Help Center, your personal data will be processed as far as is necessary to carry out the request handed in at the Help Center. The storage period for these data is 6 months.

User Analysis Website and App

We consider it important to understand how our Website and App are being used. For example, we would like to know how often, when, and the way the App and Website are being used and for how long. In so far you have given permission we will register and analyze the stored data to improve our Website and App. Below further explanation:

Website - Do you want to know which cookies and similar techniques are being used on the Website and settings for consent? You can consult the cookie tool on our website (www.dextr.nl) by clicking on the button at the bottom left. Contained in this tool you will always encounter the most up-to-date information regarding cookies and similar techniques used on our website. Here you will also find the storage period of your data.

App - We capture user data from de App with the assistance of the software solution Firebase, which we obtain from Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Moreover, we make a unique user number when you are using our App which we link to the activity conducted while on the App. For example, when creating an account, a booking, or navigating the App. For more information about Firebase, you can consult the Google website: https://firebase.google.com/.

Second, we collect App user data using a software solution called UXCam, which we purchase from UXCam Inc. With this solution, we record how you use the App. You can learn more about UXCam at this UXCam Inc. website: https://uxcam.com/.  

Usage data from the App are stored by us for 2 years. Usage data from the App is anonymized with Google Analytics.

Third parties

Within the framework of our business activities, we work with several third-party businesses. Below is explained how your personal data are shared or how third-party businesses gather this information from you.

• Transvision B.V. ("Transvision") is our parent company a facilitates important IT solutions that we make use of for our Services. Therefore, Transvision processes personal data on behalf of and by order of DEXTR.
• Taxi companies that we implement for our Service receive personal data from us to execute their tasks.
• Mollie B.V. ("Mollie") is the payment service provider that implements all payment transactions when you book a ride through the App. More information about how Mollie processes personal data can be consulted here: https://www.mollie.com/nl/privacy.
• Google Ireland Limited ("Google") supplies digital solutions which we use to analyze the use of the Website and App (see “User analysis Website and App”). Google processes personal data on behalf of and in order of DEXTR. Google can also use your personal data for their own goals, such as advertising goals based on the information that Google gathered, with your permission, from the Website and App. The Google Privacy Statement can be consulted here: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• UXCam Inc. supplies digital solutions which we use to analyze the use of the Website and App (see “User analysis Website and App”). UXCam Inc. processes personal data on behalf of and in order of DEXTR. You can find more information about UXCam Inc on their website: https://www.uxcam.com/.
• Based on the permissions granted, third parties place so-called marketing cookies on our Website for their own commercial goals. By clicking on the cookie banner on the Website (dextr.nl) you can find information on said third parties and you can indicate which permissions to allow.

Security measures

We take security measures, technical and organizational, to ensure that personal data does not get processed unlawfully. An example of an organizational security measure is, we train our personnel on privacy awareness.

In practice, we use IT systems from Transvision. Transvision also has security measures in place that is certified according to standards from  ISO 27001 and NEN 7510.

International transfer

DEXTR stores personal data within European Economic Area ("EEA"). as much as possible. As for storing data outside of the EER, we act per the laws and regulations applicable to such a transfer and we conclude EU-approved model contracts with recipients to ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data.

Retention Policy

DEXTR does not store your information longer than necessary based on the purpose for which it was collected and processed. Such a purpose for storing personal data can be to comply with rules and regulations regarding data storage.The retention period to comply with tax legislation is 7 years. More specific retention periods are mentioned in other sections of this Privacy Statement.

Rights

You hold the right to inquire about your data and request us to inspect, correct or add information to said data. You can request that we remove, transfer, or limit the processing of your data. The processing of your data is based on the permissions you have granted, which you can always revoke, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal. You also have the right to file a complaint with the competent data protection supervisor. In the Netherlands, the Dutch Data Protection Authority supervises the processing of personal data.

You can object to the processing of your personal data, objection to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes will always be granted.

We aim to respond to your request to exercise your rights within 1 month. We can extend this period by 1 month. We will comply with your request or objection to the extent that we are required to do so by law.
