You can only book your taxi with the DEXTR-app. You can easily download it from the App Store or the Google Play Store.
DEXTR is available everywhere in the Netherlands! We are still working on expanding the DEXTR network. Therefore, there are pre-book times in parts of the Netherlands. We advise booking your taxi well in advance so that your taxi can be at the desired location at the right itme. Check the app to find out what time to book your taxi.
You can't book a taxi through DEXTR by phone. You can only book a taxi with the DEXTR-app. You can donwload the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
After you booked your taxi, you will receive a notification with the arrival time and your taxi will be at the desired location. You can also always contact the DEXTR Help Center if you cannot find your taxi.

In the ride overview, under the ride information, you will find "discount applied" or "add discount". When you tap on the discount button you will see a list of discounts taht are available to you. Note: Discounts cannot be used in combination with each other.
Download the DEXTR-app from the App Store or Google Play Store and make a (free) account with your mobile number.
Follow the steps below to make a new password. You will be able to book a taxi with DEXTR again in no time.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password"
You will receive an SMS messgae with a code, type in the code and you will be able to create a new password. Note: The code can only be used once and expires after 10 minutes.
Create a new unique password and tap "Submit new password".
If you are unable to reset your password or cannot access your account, please contact us via the DEXTR Help Center in the app or on the website.
To change your details follow these steps:
On the home screen of the app, tap on "Profile" on the bottom right.
At the top of the screen tap on your name.
Enter your new details and tap 'Save'.

Enter your current password.
Enter your new password.

If you are experiencing suspicious activity in your account and suspect somone else is using your account, then your account may have been hacked.
Create a new password as soon as possible by following the steps described in: I forgot my password. Unable to do this? Then contact us directly via the DEXTR Help Center in the app or on the website.
Make sure you have entered the correct phone number. If you are using a foreign number you may not receive an SMS code. You can book a taxi as a guest user.
First of all, make sure you entered the correct phone number. Second, did you recently change your phone number?
In this case, make a new password following the steps described in: "I forgot my password".

DEXTR can block your account if you failed to show up several times within a short period of time while the taxi was waiting for you. A block lasts up to 3 months. You can read more about these rules in the General Terms and Conditions.
After you enter your destination, pickup address, pickup time and pickup date you will see your fare in the overview.
If you can't request a ride, your ride information may not be complete yet. Check that all your information is correct and quickly create an account to make booking easier next time.
Did you taxi not show up? Contact us via the DEXRT Help Center in the app or website. The carrier will receive an alert and you will be refunded your full fare within 3-5 business days and we will contact you personally.
No, paying in your cab is not possible. When you book a cab ride you pay directly through the app with iDEAL, Credit Card, Bancontact, Google Pay or Apple Pay. So you have no unexpected costs or surprises, but a carefree cab ride.
No, this is not possible. When booking your taxi ride, you specify a pick-up location and a final destination. The fare you pay for your taxi is based on the distance between your desired pick-up and destination address. It is not possible to change addresses after you have paid.
It is not possible to change your taxi ride. However, you can cancel your taxi up to 30 minutes before departure in the DEXTR-app and book a new taxi. Please note that the pre-book time starts again!
Your plans have changed and unfortunately you have to cancel your cab ride. Up to 30 minutes before departure you can do this without any costs and we will refund your fare within 3 working days. If you cancel within 30 minutes before departure, it will cost you 75% of the fare with a maximum of €12.50 euro.
Per taxi you can take a maximum of 4 pieces of luggage, including handbags. Please indicate this in the comments field of your reservation, and we will send a suitable taxi your way!
Yes, you can. When booking your taxi, you will be given the option to indicate that you want to bring a mobility aid. You can also leave a note for the driver.
Guide dogs or SOHO dogs are always welcome in the taxi. Small pets transported in a basket or bag on your lap are also allowed. Please indicate this in your booking, and we will send a suitable taxi your way!
To complete your cab booking, pay in advance via iDEAL, Credit Card, Bancontact, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Only when the ride is completed by the person who used your referral code will you receive your $5.00 discount.
You can invite your friends by sharing your referral code with them. This way you will get €5.00 discount and your acquaintance will also get €5.00 discount.

Have you tried to pay several times and your payment keeps getting declined? Please check that your payment details are correct and that you have sufficient funds in your account. Did you book only one taxi and charged twice? If could be a bank error, if it is it will automatically be corrected after 24 hours. Has the amount not been refunded after 24 hours? Then contact us via the DEXTR Help Center (hallo@dextr.nl) in the app or the website.
The fare of your taxi depends on a number of factors:
The time of pre-booking;
The distance of the ride;
The pick-up time;
Toll, tunnel and ferry fees on the road must be paid by the passenger during the taxi ride.
It may happen that your cab ride has a different fare than you are used to. This may be due to one of the following reasons:
You travel between 00.00 and 06.00.
You chose to book ahead of time and received a discount.
You can give your taxi driver a tip yourself in the taxi. This can't be done through the app.

In the app; after your ride is completed, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback in the DEXTR-app.
On Google; you can write a review for DEXTR on Google.

A guide dog or SOHO dog may always accompany you on your ride. Small pets are also allowed if they can be transported in a portable basket or bag on your lap. When booking your ride, always indicate that you are bringing a guide dog, SOHO dog or pet.
Is the cab late? Or were you not picked up at all? Send us an e-mail with the relevant booking at hallo@dextr.nl. We are happy to address this with the carrier so we can prevent this from happening in the future.
The home screen will display a notification, letting you know when your ride is scheduled. It may happen that your taxi is still on its way with a passenger before you. You won't see it driving in the app until it is on its way to you.
Not all taxis are always online, therefore you may not see the taxi arrive in your app. If so, the driver will call you right before he arrives!
You can view your ride history in the app. You can also rebook an old ride here. Can't access your app, you will also receive an email confirmation of each booking!
